Get your kids playing the fastest growing sport in America! Our pickleball leagues are 7 weeks long, all on Saturdays. Leagues will have 1 week of instructional techniques and rules, the last 6 weeks will be only games. All participants are guaranteed at least 3 games per Saturday.
Equipment & Uniforms:
The YMCA will provide all nets, balls, and paddles; however, you can bring your own paddle if you would like. YMCA pickleball t-shirt is included in the registration fee, please provide a size during registration. YMCA athletic shorts are an optional purchase, on Saturdays all participants must wear black athletic bottoms.
Communication:
General communication for this league will be sent via email. All emails will be sent to the primary account holder on the YMCA membership account.

Beginner pickleball players will have a good grasp of the rules of pickleball along with the ability to sustain a rally. Players at this level should also understand basic strategy of the game. Level of play is considered to be 2.5-3.0. Pickleball players wanting to step up their game to the Pre-Intermediate level. In this session players will work on ball control, shot selection, and court positioning. We will work on backhands, drives, 3rd shot drops, lobs, and sustainable dink rallies. This clinic does not necessarily advance you to Pre-Intermediate level, so be prepared to attend several Open Play sessions to practice the skills learned, or take the clinic more than once before moving on.

Players at this level are well-seasoned beginner players looking for a stepping stone before heading into Intermediate play. Pre-Intermediates should have solid knowledge of rules, court positioning, and decent ball control. Knowledge of shot selection, and court awareness is developing. Shots in your arsenal should be; lobs, drops, dinks, and drives but are not mastered yet. Level of play is considered to be 3.0-3.5. In this league players should have had experience playing in either Beginner League with a good win/loss record, or have played in Open Play session competitively. The competition is a mid-grade level play. Idea is to have fun, but introduce a more higher level of play.

This league is meant for very novice pickleball players with limited knowledge of the game. It is recommended to attend an Intro to Pickleball Class before entering this Clinic/League. Players at this level have good all around pickleball game. They are expected to have the ability to implement game strategy, know shot selection, good feet movement, and court awareness. Intermediates are expected to have all shots in their arsenal; drops, lobs, drives (with top spin). Players need to be able to do speed-ups, sustain dink rallies, and defend against drives, among other aspects of the game. Some differences between Intermediate and Advanced include; less consistency, more un-forced errors, undeveloped backhand drive/drop, drips (hybrid) and precise ball placement. Level of play is considered to be 3.5-4.0. In this league players should have had experience playing in Pre-Intermediate League with a good win/loss record, have played in Pre-Intermediate Open Play or have played competitively against other Intermediate players competitively. This level of play is expected to be competitive in nature yet having fun.

This pickleball league is for any skill level, but it is run as a ladder format, so you end up playing others at your same level. It is meant to be both social and competitive. Sign up as individual and each game you will be paired with a different partner. This type of league is a great way to compete with others at the same level yet at the same time challenging you to improve your game. Players are ranked based on their performance and move up or down the "ladder" after each match. Matchups are determined each week by your overall standing in the league.

18 & over co-ed; Ladder League welcomes all skill levels and match ups each week are determined by your overall standing in the league.
Member 60$, Guest: 120$.
Format: 6-week league. Play Style: Doubles. Keep Same Partner the entire league. Final rankings are determined by Wins and Losses/point differential of all matches played. 15-minute timed matches or first team to 11 & win by 2. Guaranteed 3 games a night.
Only one partner registers for the league. Please enter the name of your partner during the registration process.
