We believe the Y is the best place to begin your child’s sports journey. Our FUNdamentals class is a free 30-minute class for 2–4-year-olds that is offered to our members only. Our FUNdamentals class will put your child in social and structured sports class, to learn and practice the basic fundamentals and skills of each sport offered. This is a parent and child class, meaning that parent involvement is MANDATORY. YMCA sports coaches will demonstrate and instruct skills and drills to participants and parents/guardians will help and guide their child through the skills and drills. Please only sign up for one class a month, as space is limited.

The co-ed program provides participants with an opportunity to strengthen their motor skills in a safe and fun environment as well as gain socialization skills. Our Recreational Youth Sport League prep classes are meant to take participants who are new to sports and prep them for what they will see in our recreational youth sport leagues. These classes will be a combination of skill-based drills and team/competition-based drills that are predicated on our Recreational Youth Sport Leagues rules and regulations. Rec League Prep is a 1-hour long class, that happens 1x a week. Please bring a water bottle and wear appropriate athletic attire.
